You know it is going to be a great wedding weekend when you stop in at the local Wal-Mart and see bright green shirts with the bride and grooms face on them!

Special thanks to the Mother of the Groom for these shirts.  The whole wedding party and family had them and now my photo (from Jenna and Sam’s engagement session) will be all over the United States and some parts of the World!

I have been looking forward to this wedding weekend for the past year.  I met Jenna when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed a few years back (Taffy and Andrew).  Jenna is such a sweet and caring person, that when she asked about me photographing her wedding I was all in!   She then told me where the wedding was going to take place and I was sold.

Jenna and Sam met on a warm summer evening under the gorgeous Wedding Tree at Vinewood Plantation in Newnan, Georgia.  The 1800’s plantation home served as the site for the girls and guys to get ready (the bathrooms are to die for) and the guests partied the night away in the beautifully decorated horse barn.

Jenna & Sam, Thank you so much for allowing Kelley and I to witness your wedding day.  The way the two of you look at each other can turn even the most hardened heart.  I hope that I was able to capture just a little of that love in these images below.  We wish you the best as you start this journey together and can’t wait to see where you go from here.

That dress was gorgeous.  

The ring that Jenna wore on her right hand is very special.  That ring was given to Jenna’s maid of honor, Taryn, by Jenna’s mom before she passed away when Jenna was younger.  Taryn brought the ring and had it for Jenna to wear as her something borrowed.

The way Sam looked at Jenna (and continued to look at Jenna) is why I love first looks.  This was such a special moment.
